Call for Student Posters
The Technology, Systems, and Ships (TSS) 2017 technical committee is seeking submissions for the annual ASNE Student Poster Competition. TSS 2017 will feature keynote and panel presentations focusing on PEO-defined tracks led by subject-matter experts and high level civilian and government leaders. Student posters are displayed in the exhibit hall and are judged by a panel of experts to name 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awardees in undergraduate and graduate student research categories. Teams may have faculty advisors named on the poster, but the lead author name(s) should be students. Teams of mixed undergraduate and graduate students will be judged as graduate student submissions.
Technical posters for TSS are solicited on the broad range of technical challenges applicable to technology, systems, and ships. Specific areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Additive Manufacturing
- Combat Systems
- Cyber Security
- Directed Energy
- Energy Storage Technologies
- Flexible Ships
- Future Programs
- Novel Developments in Ship Structures and Materials
- Unmanned and Autonomous Systems
Abstract Submission
To hold your space in the student poster competition, please submit a brief (~1 paragraph) abstract including:
- Proposed Poster Title
- Author Name(s) and Level (undergraduate/graduate)
- Organization(s)
- Contact E-mail
Abstracts should be submitted online by clicking here (login required). Full posters need not be submitted in advance of TSS.
