The Defense Acquisition University has a great 8-page synopsis titled, "Teaching Note: Analysis of Alternatives by Patrick K. Morrow.
The Air Force published a longer "Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) Handbook which provides great detail on each of the slides in the presentation and breaks down the key terms and ideas. Many of the graphics in the PPT come from this document. Appendix F also includes three pages of definitions that may be useful to you.
You may also find this 4-hour series useful. It describes Analysis of Alternatives from the perspective of choosing the correct chemicals in the face of regulations. There is a lot of overlap between these chemical processes and the military processes.
