As the Director of the Missile Defense Agency, VADM Syring oversees MDA’s worldwide mission to develop a capability to defend deployed forces, the United States, allies, and friends against ballistic missile attack. VADM Syring’s update of the strategy, programs, and technologies within the MDA portfolio will be of critical importance to all of us in the naval engineering community.
