The ASNE President’s Club is pleased to announce that our guest speaker for this event is Rep. Steven Palazzo, Member of the House Armed Services Seapower and Readiness Subcommittees, as well as the Subcommittee on Research and Science Education of the House Science and Technology Committee. As such, he is in a unique position to play a key role in shaping policy and programs affecting U.S. Navy shipbuilding and repair, as well as initiatives aimed at promoting science and technical education. He will share his thoughts with us on the current state of our Navy’s readiness, the outlook for funding of Navy ship repair programs, and the importance of maintaining a strong U.S. naval engineering and ship construction and maintenance capability.
